The ford Aussie color Icon or Shockwave (dunno which one it is) is a real nice blue. Are looking to customize your paint a bit?? A bit of Pearl and Violet/purple would look good, especially with silver or white stripes. The color called pure white (its exactly that) is a really bright white. But silver is cool too!! I am just saying if it was me, I'd do a white stripe. But hey, its your car. |

I dunno how available the color would be in da US. I dunno the paint code either. They dont give them out on the website. Its on the Falcon Range if you wanna check it out. www.ford.com.au
Then click passenger vehicles, Falcon, it should open in popup. |

You need paint codes, names are nothing to a painter.

Or at least give the guy a year and car to get a code.
Glen, when the car is done, you WILL have a life.

What, do you think i am dumb or something?? I said in my post that I do not know the codes!! I know names are useless, especially in the US, if its an Aussie car. They have only just brought out this color and there is no local ford dealer where I am. So I have not had a chance to get the codes. And the codes are probably useless in the US too. |

Happy,Happy,HappyI got her home Friday, dusted off the tool box this morning and got right to work. Check my gallery, she is starting to look like a snake. A fine look'n lady!
 Indigo Blue -- WA 9792
 Titanium -- (Lamborghini) 210.600 stripes
Look great in the sun light.
It also looks good to the 4 walls in my garage.
"I" need to get this thing on the road!
 Thanks guys,
 Glen B.

Ya know, I'm double checking my color sample sheet here, but I quite shure that car is NOT red....Perhaps it's the lighting in the garage thats throwing the color off...It kinda looks........Bluish????

 Glen,
 Very, very nice.
Looks like you did an excellent job on the build – it is certainly a car of which you should be very proud. I can’t wait to see it up close and personnel.
By the way, I notice the Old Style sign in the garage – I really like your plan of the 30 pack while sitting back and admiring your work for a few days.
Pull the sign out and set it up – It will make all the jealous neighbors sit up and take notice.

Glen,Perhaps we should add the name of your painter on our list of local sources in the club directory? As with anyone else who has a local source for parts or services for our cars...email me directly with your parts or service company which has worked well for you....

Thanks guys. The painter was Tom at Bel Air auto body in Downers Grove. Dan & Tom are great guys to work with. This was there first Cobra and I think there proud of the work they did for me. Give them a call 630.852.1400 They seem to do a lot of Hot Rods.As far as my Old Style sign, do we have club stickers that big, or do I have to free hand something. I have the perfect spot for it.
I could also mount it on my trailer and bring it to club outtings as it also lights up (it's double sided) Think about it? Way Cool!
 Thanks again,
 Glen B.
