Come on guys.
What about Sid........ He'll make all our cars look clean.
I think Rich Shelby is going also?
Wolfie is going too. You know he'll race if he has enough fuel.
What about Lowell......
And Bob M. and that new 427sbf.?
Paging Mr. Spina, Mr. Spina please report to the race track.
I also heard Tom B. put a 347 in his car also (drag strip is a great break in opportunity).
We all know Erik (EMK) won't show again (he's chicken).
What about all the newer members. We need help out there......

If Rich Shelby is going We might bring Corey's Mustang---But for sure I won't bring the Firebird--my prostock license has long expired years ago
Jerry
Bullet Bob has taken the day off so he can come, of course I've got the clutch, trans and rear end out of his car(maybe he'll take a new Vette???)

mmmm the sweet sound of trash talking.
Contacted Bryon about the trophies. Have not heard back yet! Will keep you update. Who wants to make a run to the restaurant we went to in Genoa this weekend to make sure they got space for us?

Thats right, Jerry said he can do all this to my Cobra in 45 min. labor charge, and I get 10% off for being a club member. But he does brake for lunch , and that takes 20min. Not a bad deal huh ! In fact he is so busy that is going to finish the work in his trailer on the way over while Corey drives.

That's not what I said--
I will change the rear gear between the burnout and the run IF I think it will help
The big one is that I can do it in 45 minutes , but the clock runs if the hood is up and I foegot to close it Sat after the SVTOA guys(and Gal) were here so even with the 10% discount---
Jerry
PS- Sid How is the exhaust doing?

It lives and breathes
I will see you guys on Friday and baring any problems Il be there in Byron. The black cloud is still here. With 30 miles on the new motor I blew an oil galley plug and lost oil pressure. Lucky I caught it asap. All's back together and running well. I hope this will rid the D&M curse.

ALSNAKE
The Restaurant is in Genoa. We usually meet at the gas station on Rt. 47 and Rt. 72 at about 7:30 am. We will set a definite plan before the weekend. Sid was going to take a ride out to the restaurant this Sat. to set up a reservation for a group. The restaurant was on rt 72 just after downtown genoa but before the railroad tracks on the south side of the road.
Keep an eye on this thread for the finalized plans. We hope you can make it. We need a big block to show us the way to some good times...
Have you taken your car to the track yet?
I'm curious on your times. I'm interested in installing a 514 possibly after this motor loses its life.

Yeah Jeff & those are the new STREET tires, Maybe the slicks get mounted before Saturday. I think you Photoshopped that pic. No way my tires were more than 6" off the ground. I hear that Sid's making clutch excuses, Shelby wants a rolling start, The King Kirkham is still being sorted. We may need Frank to put on his pink helmet, Blas to put down the pompons, Hemisnake if only for the intimidattion factor, definitely need Malmen & his 427, Boyce & his yellow 347 or we're really going to get smoked; BY CHEBBIES!!

Ahhh the BS flies
Man, oh man, I can't believe it the tires haven't even started spinning yet
and already..here we go.......
oh my poor clutch,
Gee my car needs a push to go, uhh,
my tires are a little too old,
I've got old oil in it, oh it might hurt the left muffler bearing,
or break the contusion valves.....
what other BS are we gonna hear ?
Hey guys that happens after the racing is done.
Excuses come later......
Hey Mike that's a nice picture of your car.... what's it doing?

I had my performance spies out after work today. I could have sworn they saw our very on Jeffko heading south on RT. 47 towards Claytons Speed Shop. You guys always think I'm not paying attention.
Just remember, those corvette guys won't have to worry about jeff by Sat., there might be some clouds in the sky.
Ouch.............

Cheez Chris...can't a guy go for a drive when the weather is great? Besides, I was on my way to the big dogs place to help with Sid's dilemma and I got a little turned around.
Kudos to Forte for taking an order at almost 10pm his time last night.
I'll leave the rest of the kudos to Sid.

Did you guys figure out what was wrong with Sid's car?
I thought he was just chickening out for drag day.
