Hopefully it happens at Byron. Come on, make us proud. We can give you a trailer ride back home if you need it.

Drag it

Default Drag it

Ahh yes, there maybe a spot on my trailer for someone if they breakdown.
(Unless I break mine then you guys better call AAA.)

You see gentlemen I will not be snake & egging it with y'all.
Coffee and a granola bar for me gotta keep the weight down.
I'll be slowly pulling the snake behind me.
So when I get there I can race it like I stole it.
None of this babying it. Turn the boost up and run the tires off of it.

Blas, in no particular order
1. The latest plan is to have breakfast @ Spring Grove family restaurant in Genoa, IL (Rte. 72 west of "downtown" Genoa, south side of road, immediately east of railroad underpass) @ 7:30 AM
2. The track gates open @ 9:00 AM, Racing starts @ 10:00 AM.
3. "Watch this thread for weather updates"
4. 47 & 72 is the scheduled rendevous point, some will go direct to track from home, some will go direct to restaurant from home, some will cower under the sheets till the last possible moment, some will stay under the sheets.
5. We have in the past tried to be there early enough to be ready when they first start racing, often there are not as many cars ready & you can get in some "shakedown" passes.

All of this weather permitting of course, I'm bringing rain tires but I don't think I can outdo the traction control on the Chebbies.

Michael

They show rain for the next 8 out of 9 days. That can't be right!

This is not my fault Chris.

Sid currently doesn't have a car, I repossessed it under the original "right of disassembly" conveyed last year during the thrash to get his car ready for London. He was agreeable to just about anything that weekend.
If you think it will help with the weather, I'll go throw some more dirt on it, but I don't think anyone will notice.

What a bunch of wussies,,,,, I checked the extended forcast and they are only predicting a 60% chance of rain on saturday. Let me just say this about that, if I listened to the weathermen I would never get to go to work and unfortunatly Ive been working my arss off, we always seem to be able to dodge the rain long enough to "git er dun" so why should it be any different for our valued recreational time? So the heck with the forcast, be there or be square,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,unless it rains of course!!!

You know............ I think Blas just said in a round about way he wanted to drag race his cobra at Byron for the first time this saturday... Did anybody else get that out of his post?

I don't think he'll do it. Maybe we can make a poll? Or a vote if we want him to participate in racing festivities.

What do ya think?

You "Capite"?
There you have it. The only question was when/where for an installation party.

Default Blas Drag Racing?

There aint NO WAY that you can tell me that Blas's
head is gonna be under the roll bar with a helmet.
So will they let him race?
Heck, I think he can actually see over the top
of the windsheild when he drives
Drag it to, Drag it there, Drag it back.
