Did you drive your cobra today
Sunshine and 60 degrees. Just got back from a 30 minute run over my lunch hour. I had a chance to step on it in 2nd and boy did that do for me. Feeling that rear end fighting to hold the traction, I needed that. Its going to be hard going through the winter without the opportunity to do that once in a while.
But wait! Tomorrow is going to be even better, close to 73 degrees. Anyone want to plan a lunch run to Applevilla or Mill in Long Grove? I guarantee that I'll being out again tomorrow getting in what maybe the last drive of the season.

I drove my Gt40 KVA to work today in Houston. Absolutely beautiful day here also. Had to pickup my wife for lunch and she asked why I didn't drive something else today because she hates getting in and out of the 40. I told her there are limited days each year that are this nice and today was one!!! Told her she could walk if she wanted too, anybody have a dog house for one or two nights? Will drive it again tomorrow, if I was alittle closer I would love to go out at lunch and scare a few vettes!
Larry
p.s. One of the few nice things about Houston is we get these days often in the winter just to hot in the summer!!!!!!!

It has been raining since last Wednesday here in Florida. So I have been driving my Jeep. No fun but it keeps the toys out of the bad weather. I guess I'll just drink a glass of wine in the garage tonite, but I.ll think about you when January comes around.

We DROVE TOP DOWN in the SHELBY... ALL DAY... EVERY DAY... from WEDNESDAY THRU SUNDAY!
Okay we had some rain Saturday.
And it wasn't the Cobra.
It was a Shelby GT-H convertible from the Hertz Fun Collection...
Okay, and it was from San Francisco through Sonoma wine country and down highway one thru Monterey, Pebble Beach, Carmel, Big Sur etc... to L.A.
That was FUN!
Maybe Snake N Eggs w/ the Cobra on Saturday!

I did a quick drive on Sunday. It was about 60 and sunny.
It was a great chance to test out the heater I installed this summer.

I went from Rockford to Rolling Meadows on Sunday and gave my brother a ride. I did not make it home until after 7 PM, it was getting chilly, but I loved it anyway. I am new to WCCC hope to met many of you.

Wife and I took a beautiful ride last Sunday to Rend Lake(in southern Illinois)...stopped at a winery...enjoyed the 60+ weather...we were joined by a good friend and his wife in his absolutely beautifully restored '56 Vette..while at the winery a Harley club on a poker run came thru...each and every rider got off thier bike and went directly to our cars...at end of day...overwhelming majority vote for the Cobra...one guy said,,anyone can buy a Vette..

Michael, we know that is one beautiful looking cobra, so why not post some photos in the gallery. That cobra got more looks than the one I'm driving now. With over 400 cars in London, your was the only one in British Racing Green with white strips. It was just GORGEOUS!

Took KMP357 to work with me today. Probably will for the rest of the week, too.

Got out for a twist and turn on Sat evening and a 200 mile run on Sunday. As long as it's above 45 and dry, I'm going to get out whenever I can. Found a couple of roller coaster back roads and tight banked coners just south of Walworth Wi.

Steno, where were you on Saturday when about 15 Cobras did that "twisty, turny" run around the Lake Geneva area?

Snake,
I just hate it when work gets in the way of prime fun time. This Saturday is supposed to be in the 50's so I guess I'll just have to get out and scare some dogs and set off a car alarm or two.
