Default UTI / WCCC Event

In case you did not see the Club email...
If you have responded to me in or out already - please ignore this post...

New WCCC Event Suggestion:

Ed Deal over at UTI in Glendale Heights, who along with the students built a Spec Racer Cobra a few years back (we visited them, some of you may recall) has asked if we would like to bring our cars back over to their facility for a little show and tell event. I had suggested that some of our members would be interested in a little free education, and I believe we have come to an interesting solution…Good for them and good for us….

Ed has suggested that on April 26th, WCCC members would be able to sit in on a class for 4-6hrs which would cover topics such as degreeing in a cam shaft, cam swapping, sizing bearings, etc. He has sat with our instructors and the areas you have requested should not be a problem. He will need a head count within the next week or so, if at all possible. So the big question is…Who’s interested in attending, and how many Cobras’ can we muster for this event?

And I know the 26th is the back-up date for the Gess Motorsports trip…?
And he is aware of that and our weather related issues...

So I need a headcount for this event. Yes or no from everyone…..because Ed needs to arrange things…

Any non-WCCC and/or perspective new members are also invited to attend...
Just PM me if your interested...Hopefully you can all bring your Cobra's too...
The students and staff are really a great bunch....
