Default WCCC Scavengar Hunt 10/25/08

The 2nd Annual Scavengar Hunt is just around the corner. The festivities start at the Mullinix's in St. Charles at noon and the route ends at the Damsch's in Elgin. When you arrive at the Damsch's is up to you.....that's part of the fun of the hunt. Just because you get there first, does not make you the winner...or even if you get there last, does not make you the loser...POINTS COUNT.....

RSVP's would be appreciated so we can plan for food, etc.

We had a great time last year, but suggestions to make this a bigger and/or better event are always welcome.

Last year we were able to drive the Cobra's, but ya never know with Chicago weather. If it happens to rain, sleet, snow or hail...I am pretty sure the event is still on but I would suggest your everyday car if weather is bad.

There will be packets with just about everything you will need to participate in this fun event, except maps. Forget your GPS..it won't help except to get you from our house to Wolf & Mary's.

Kim,

Unfortunately we have plans that day and won't be able to particpate this year. There is a remote chance that we may make it to Wolf & Mary's house later on. I am sure if it is like anything like last year, it should be a blast. Have fun!

Mark

We would love to come but I have to work until 11. We would not be able to make it to St. Charles by noon.

I'm negotiating getting out of a family Halloween party that day. We'll see how strong my sales skills are.

Chitown? you from Dodge, Kansas. Properly just referred to as "the City" or more specifically "downtown" or "Wrigleyville" etc.

Last year was a really good time, It may be the LAST opportunity to drive this season.(some who put cars in storage, cancel insurance, wimp out, can't find their gloves yet, cars won't start, turbos make too much power in the cold, and other such candy-ass excuses. I'm sure that there will be extra points for those who attend in their Cobras. The wimps are, of course, still welcome, in particular those who will be driving a fair distance. I do remember a few years ago, that Fred M attended a Snake & eggs in his car with snow on the ground. So stop snivelling & plan on attending.
