I'm almost ready to pull the trigger on my sidepipe re-do. The plan at the moment is to do a 3" core/4" body smooth (not louvered) perforated muffler, longer than standard (probably in the 28" range), and have the tailpipe section removable so I can insert a spiral muffler section in either the tailpipe, muffler body or both. I can then play around with what works the best, and have it tuneable. Not switchable, but at least tuneable.
