Sorry, I should have said that there's little doubt it had a CSX (or COB/COX) number attached some where under the hood, but that doesn't mean that the car in the video originated from Thames Ditton circa 1964. After a hard shunt like that, it may be more cost-effective to order another from the same place that one originated.

Also worth noting that there were two (yes - two!) Daytona-shaped automobiles racing at the same meeting where they don't permit replicas to race. Funny old world

Replicas at Goodwood!.... Lions and tigers and bears, OH MY! And there certainly were, without a doubt, NO Superformance GT40s on that grid.

And as I stated on another thread, those beautiful Jag XKSS lightweights being recreated AT JAGUAR are being denied by Goodwood because they are considered "replicas". Yes, a funny world...
