SBF one piece rear main seal orientation

Thanks. Tried it and ruined the seal. Bought 4 more just because I like to spend money needlessly and because I hate this build more than anything else.

Solid side faces out.

Do yourself a favor and drop the pan and rear main cap. Those seals hardly ever go in the way they ought and you'll damage them trying to drive them in.

It also depends on whether it's a factory block designed for a 1 piece or a block that's been machined for the upgrade. There's at least one shop who has problems with tolerances.
