Just that simple..I apply the Met-All with the blue shop towels you can get anywhere rub it in good, then I get a clean shop towel and scoop a little flour onto it and for what ever reason the black residue that is normally there when you wipe is gone. Saves rags and a ton of wiping. Years ago the Met-All can itself said to use flour. Really shines everything amazing.

Yes, as 40k Later says, it's that simple. I just keep an 8 or 10 inch wide bowl with a 2-3 inches of flour and generously dip or sprinkle the flour on the rag. Microfiber cloth/rags really do the trick.

When I lived in hot and humid Atlanta for a few years I used to put a coat of wax over the polished aluminum. While it dulls the shine, it does reduce tarnishing that comes with a hot and humid climate. I didn't have the luxury of keeping my airplane in a temperature and humidity controlled hangar.

Out west in Idaho, though, a good polish will last 6 months or more without wax.

Default flour

Does it have to be "All Purpose" flour?
