Might be a silly question or at least impertinent, but why on earth did you buy the car if you're not going to drive it?

Doesn't driving the car produce a much greater smile, bordering on rictus, than dusting and waxing?
I was neither dusting or waxing. I had issues with the car that I didn't have the time to sort out, as I was working like crazy as air travel bounced back strongly from covid and my airline was severely short on pilots. I've been home typically only about 8-10 days a month total, with the Mrs. commandeering most of those days. The electrical issue is solved now and the car is being driven.

The vibraton problem was in fact the severe flat spotting. I had never experienced that before, as I haven't driven on bias tires like these before. Now I have many assorted sorting out issues to address, the biggest being running too hot, which I'll start another thread on tonight. Other than that it's the usual kill one issue at a time until the car is "sorted".

Contemporary owner here
I started out with the Goodyear ‘Race’ tires
Looked great, driving experience was not so good.
Went to BFG’s not much grip, then Cooper Cobras, not a lot better
I now run the Avon CR6ZZ 225/65/15 F & 295/50/15 R
Very happy!

We just put a set of Avon CR6ZZ 245/60 front and 295/50 rear on ours.
For the short drive yesterday, much better than the very old GTII's that was on the car.

I have had both Billboards and Avons and I will say there is no other change you can make to your car that will make the difference to your driving experience that a set of Avons will make. Worth every penny.
