Everyone has a different experience so here's mine. I've never had a pusher fan work as well as a puller, either on my Cobra replica or my circle track cars. To cool my Cobra (429 SCJ engine) I had to go with an aluminum cross flow radiator, twin electric puller fans with shroud, and a Dakota Digital fan controller. IMHO if anyone can cool a big-inch, big horsepower engine with pusher fans, you're really lucky.

I believe most of those running pusher fans are doing so as secondary or supplemental fans to puller fan(s). As such the pushers are there primarily for decoration.

Twin pusher fans for show. They really look cool spinning in the wind.
Puller fan/fans for go. That hot air has got to go.
Cheers

That is exactly why I put the pushers on my SPF -- for show. However they do help cool the engine compartment after a drive. They do push adequate air through the radiator into the compartment and gets rid of the heat quickly.

So I got the kit from Cobra Restorers - how did you mount yours in a SPF? I see lots of fiberglass shroud around and in front of radiator.

Be extra careful before drilling thru the shrouds. The radiator lives back there. I remember a story about someone wanting to mount a protective screen in front of the radiator and drilling a hole in it. He JB welded a penny to the radiator to plug the hole. How do you plan to power the two pusher fans?

I have mine connected to a switch on the dash . It is run through a relay between the fans and the switch
