I’m new to the forum and wanted to share my ICCARS Cabra build.

I purchased a locally built ICCARS cobra kit from Kangaroo Island South Australia. The kit runs a space frame style chassis with a bonded fibreglass body.

The chassis was constructed to fit a modular 5.4L, 4 speed auto, triangulated 4 bar 9” rear with 20”x 16” deep dish wheels.......Based on a scale model “Big time models” which was given to me years ago....When i first ran it past Wil from ICCARS his first answer was “They won’t fit” and so was his second and third answer ....however backwards and forwards with autocad we made it work.

Wil was a super nice guy and very accommodating.....Well worth a look at these guys.

Anyway I’m glad to part of the cobra family.....

Thanks Anthony

Welcome Anthony!
And may I say what a great name you have.
I've never met Will nor seen one of his cars up close and personal (photos only).
Well done on joining the family, and best wishes with your car.
I'd love to see pics and a thread all in due time of course.

Safe motoring.

Anthony, Welcome to the mad house.
However, there is a rule around here that we all enforce and it is : Pics or it didn't happen.
That's pics of your car of course .... we sure don't want any pics of Wil

Hey Anthony,

welcome aboard mate and thanks for the kind words; although I'm not sure who's steering the ship here, it is a great place to talk, learn & network with like minded folk.

Building your Cobra was a first for any Cobra ever with that wheel package so I was glad to be part of that process - only thing now is that I have two guys lined up for the same set up, so might have to hire your services to consult on those builds lol.

Look forward to your input here mate, as you have a wealth of knowledge and a Ton of other cars and projects on the go... You will have to do your GT40 thread if you can make time.

Cheers
