Firstly - welcome. You're in the right place - you can find almost any Cobra related information here.
Secondly - you have done really well to be able to include a picture in your first post

...and third - do you have any points of contact with the NSW Cobra Club?
We (forum members) are ready and happy to give advice, but there's rarely a better substitute than a local 'expert' doing a visual to give an opinion on the door latches/locks.
