After sanding the outside like I did with the inside, I started installing it on the engine only to find out the base warped enough to put half the mounting holes out of sync. I had to open most of the air horn and mounting screw holes. Laborious.
After installing and uninstalling way too many times, I finally got everything to fit.
Three days to clean up and finish. Whew! Glad it’s behind me |
