2000 Johnex 427SC for sale

John.... that's a good question. When my wife and I retired a little over a year ago we started planning on getting into traveling on extended trips around the country with our Harleys in a RV. It's been a learning experiance. We're about $160k into that after our most recent purchase this week.
Selling the car is just a matter of priorities at this time. The Cobra is a low use garage queen that we enjoy occassionaly. The RV trips with the bikes are something that we will spend alot of time doing together in the next few years.
In a year or so, when we've financially recovered from the great RV adventure, I will be looking to step up to a Kirkham. That's my ultimate goal and the only one of these I would rather have than this one.
As for why so cheap....... Would sombody like to offer me more?
I'm seeing nice Superformance cars go begging at $40k. Personally I understand that my Johnex is one of the best replicas ever built. Most people have never heard of them, let alone seen one from underneath.
I understand that the perceived value of customer support from a company like Superformance, that is still in bussiness, adds resale value to that car. Johnex doesn't exist any more. So...... even though it's a better car..... If I'm going to be serious about actually selling it, I have to be realistic and take less.
Many of the sellers out there today are looking to recover the high cost of first ownership. Others are throwing a big number out there just to see if somebody with more money than brains will come along. Unless there's something special about them, they're not selling.
This is the real deal. If somebody takes advantage of it before the property I've also got on the market sells, they'll be getting a good deal. If the real estate agent does her job, the Cobra will safe back under her cover.
