Hi Rick
Been a long while.
I’m still Cobra mad and now have a GT40 back in my garage after selling my first Gt40
The kirkham Cobra remained in brushed aluminium. I was always impressed after seeing that brushed Cobra of Ron’s the Forum moderators’ car at Fontanna in 2009.
My son occasionally has contact with Wayne
Turpin son Mark - I think Mark is a Doctor.
I’ve had not heard from Wayne or Mark in years.
In fact Wayne would be in his 80’s now if he is still
With us.
I’ve had a few trips back each year and plan
another trip mid next year doing Route 66
Hope all good with you though

Good to hear from you, mate. Glad you could take time to post. I thought you had traded Cobras’ for bicycles.
Yes we are up to our eye balls in water here. There is so much water between Chandler and Evansville that we are considering calling the area Lake Warrick West.
Haven’t heard from WT or his brother for some time. The dinner was good. I remember you talking about the boys visiting. Could not help but think how gracious you were to host them. It is the way we should all be. Some of the other men there were talking about their children and school there--more so than the cars. It was good to have so much in common. Wayne mentioned he would like to do it again. We should have.
Take care, little down under buddy.

Hi mate.
Long time since I have been on the Forum in the Indiana forums.
I was just sitting in the Qantas airport lounge and surfing the 'clubcobra' forum - as I do looking at photos etc. That's why my Post number is so high!!
I have not seen Wayne Turpin WTCOBRA on the site for ages.
Do you know what he is up too?
Wayne worked as a Lawyer in Evansville and lives down the freeway near the large Shell Station across the road from the Drury Motel - Mmm not the best description. But I recall he lived down the road that ran between the Shell and the Drury Motel and was on a small lake.
Wayne had a red Cobra whith white stripes. he was very active with Rick Pickles in organising the Run N Gun at St. Louis but then just dropped off the scene.
His son and nephew came out to Australia a few years back and stayed with my wife and I. We took then up to Sydney and the Capital over two weeks.
Hope all is good there with you all. Stay safe.
Bernie
