They are not as simple as they first appear. I used parts from three different cars as samples for reverse engineering. They were remarkable close, very close, to being all the same except for the two holes that must have been spotted by eye and drilled while the part was held in place in the car for the foot box attachment points. It was 2005 when I was asked to create drawings.
