I have a TKO600 in my Backdraft. I had the shifter moved to the mid position. For me, the position is perfect. There's a photo of it in my gallery. Here's a link:

I paid someone to move it, but later found the instructions on the Tremec site and realized I could have done it myself without too much trouble.
