engine is so big it has it's own muffler sitting on top. man, that thing's going to be an animal. you're looking at about 850 hp and too much torque? put a swivel seat with a gyro in it so when you're going every which way you can always face forward.:3DSMILE:

Very nice. Truth be told, I'm jealous.:o

Got a couple questions.

Where did you get the expansion tank? I need to replace mine, and that is exactly what I need.

On your Blue Thunder valve covers, did you paint them, anodize, powder coat, etc.?

ratsnst1 02-20-2010 09:27 AM

850 hp really

I don't think it even close to 850HP maybe just maybe 700HP BUT that is wishful thinking...It has a hydraulic roller cam ground by Keith Craft racing..It is the same on they use in their 700 HP crate 514 motor..Almost the same build but I used a forged crank and forged I beam rods 6.8 inches..Max RPM is 6500 and NO MORE...

Instead of buying a 350.00 dollar kit I bought the needed parts to make it myself...You really can do it yourself you just need the Tremec mid shift lug from them to make it work...A T-56 shifter turned backwards with the shift ball milled down to fit the lug...Very Easy and cheaper than buying the complete kit PLUS TKOs are notorious for leaking because of lack of sealer between the two cases..Mine would definitely leaked because of lack of sealer had I not separated it to do the mid shift install..Here are the directions from Tremec on how to do the install..Should give you an idea what you need and how to do it..

I see. That is a very easy job, removing the tranny is the real work. ;)

Do you have a picture you can post looking down on it. I'm not sure if the inlet/outlet angles will work with my setup.

Hi!

Nice engine! Can you tell me the code of the K&N oil ilter that you've placed on the engine? I have 514 cui engine in my cobra and I can't find the filter for this engine on K&N website!

C1Pulleys 03-18-2010 08:38 AM

Thrilled to see that the pulley systems we manufacture have been put to good use in such a monster of an engine! Let us know if you need anything further and PLEASE keep the pictures/reports coming. We love to see our products in action.

Happy motoring! Congrats on the engine!
