Default New Upgraded TKO 500/600's Now Offered...

B2 Motorsports can now offer TKO 500's and 600's with upgraded torque capacity.

We have two options for each transmission: "Semi Pro" and "Pro".

The Semi Pro transmissions will be brand new transmissions from Tremec. These will be disassembled and upgraded with bronze fork pads and cryogenically treated gears. These transmissions will also receive our "Sure Shift" upgrade where the cones on the gears are modified and the shift forks are upgraded to ensure quick shifting at higher rpms. This modification will add approximately another 100 lb-ft of torque capacity to the original capacity of the transmission. This brings the TKO 500 up to 600 lb-ft and the TKO 600 up to 700 lb-ft.

The Pro transmissions will have the Semi Pro upgrade, the Sure Shift upgrade, and will have the 1st-4th gears, sliders, and hubs REM treated. This adds an additional 10% torque capacity/life to the transmission.

We can also upgrade your existing transmission with either option.

Short input shaft and mid shift upgrades are also available.

If anyone has any questions, you can post here or send me an email.

Along with the transmissions, B2 Motorsports is a distributor for McLeod, RAM, Hays, Lakewood, Quicktime, Hurst, Astro Performance A-5 Transmissions, G-Force Transmissions, PRW, Probe Pistons, Quick Fuel Carbs, and Jones Cams.

OK Brent, what's REM treatment? Issat where you dream about'em?

Seriously though, I have no idea what that is in terms of treatments.

Steve,

It's REM isotropic finishing.

The short and skinny of it is that the parts are chemically treated, then tumbled. This removes the "peaks" from the parts and just leaves the "valleys". This produces a smooth microfinish and reduces friction, noise, and vibrations.
