I sure am. They werent the best...but theyll take some abuse. I had an 8" in the 69 fastback I had. Full steel body,302 on nitrous,4spd top loader...even with 20 gallons of fuel hanging off the back of the car I never managed to break it.

So going off of past experiance I was comfortable with putting an 8" in it.
