Cold air intake

I see you're not getting much response so here's the solution I made up. I am not familiar with the product you saw.

I fabbed this aluminum pan with Moroso foam 5 years ago and it is a major improvement. Power increase and a stable idle by keeping heat away and breathing outside air.

Chas. Thanks for your reply. Your setup looks great. I saw a Spectre Cold Air Intake on the Speed Channel last week and was wondering if anyone here has used this setup. I was wondering about the hood clearance, horsepower increase etc. Thanks again, Pacco

I've seen the Spectre setup from Summit and although it is a good concept, I'd prefer to have the whole housing made from some composite material as an insulator to not reheat the incoming air.
