Those pesky rules, regulations and laws are arbitrary... Someone makes them up, doesn't make them right. Most of the time it's just about the money when you break them.
In any case, life is terminal 100% of the time. If I could chose when and where to go out I think that would be preferable to spending 5 years in bed drooling on my stained sheets. I look at life as being an adventure, not a scary place where I'm afraid to scuff my knee. Most regrets are from what you didn't do, not from what you did.
Each to their own. I won't tell you what to do, and I'd expect the same from everyone else...

I'm not trying to tell anyone what to do. I only had an opinion about operating within the track rules. I'm not trying to take away the adventure. I think it's great that you guys have the knowledge, ability, talent and "cajones" to travel that fast.
Almost every Sunday, I play a sport in a competitive atmosphere. I've had at least a couple instances where body parts or life have been perilously close to harm, so I totally understand attempting to live life as an adventure.
Having said that, I do my best to play by the rules, even though I still vehemently argue with the referees about those "pesky" offside calls.

Soccer player?? Me too. I usually take my cobra to the Sunday games. Hammering on the way there gets the adrenaline going!!!

Yep, instead of the danger of banging gears and going fender-to-fender on Sundays, I like the danger of going shoulder-to-shoulder and banging bodies. I've been very fortunate on a couple occasions.
I've thought about taking the Cobra, but anytime I leave it unattended, it tends to draw a lot of attention. Plus, I would hate for a ball to hit it. Even with all the tall fences, they sometimes tend to hit cars.

I agree, life must be a great adventure otherwise it does not worth living.
I break rules every time I can because rules are not usually logical but based on what fear people. Or made to have the less gifted ones to survive.
