I can vouch for the dealer, Stephen Becker. He's a good guy and does a nice job. He often sells his cars for more than this at auction, so he probably figures that if someone wants it for the same price, then he will sell it to them, although the economy may make that tough....

It's strange that the ebay listing states CSX6035 for the VIN but the text says 6035 and 6018.
In any case, CSX6018 is on the block at Barrett Jackson Scottsdale next week.
This car's sister (CSX6021) sold at BJ in Vegas for $128.7K
I blew it by not buying CSX4986 for 87K (+10%) a year ago (that was another Becker car.)

BJ isn't exactly the best place to find out what the "real" market value is for any car.

Lets be fair guys , the shelby magazine (third issue out now) says a roller is 49,900.00 . Panavia got his csx roller for 41k . Nobody here IMHO put 80k in options on there SPF , Hell their Kirkham , for that matter . I wounder if some got confused with the value difference between a fibre and a alum csx4xxx and the dealer didn't straighten them out , or maybe the dealers are confused . seriously 119k for a alumy I can see .

Making up some of difference between a CSX and a KMP.
The Kirkham roller has no paint. If you want a brushed finish, then add $8K. If you want a polished finish with two brushed center stripes, then add $12K (I think). The Shelby roller is painted.
I haven't prepped and painted a fiberglass body in a while, but last time I checked here in the Bay Area it was $15,000-$20,000 depending on how much the fiberglass had to be worked.

Maybe I'm Getting Too Old...
$100k (+/-) for any specialty constructed vehicle (as defined by the State of CA) seems to be alot of money to me particularly when you look at what that same money can buy on the used car market. Recognizing they might not be a Cobra, but then again if I owned a Ferrari, Porsche, Viper, Aston Martin, etc., I might have a slightly different perspective.
At the end of the story though, particularly in the current economic environment, if you have $100k to spend on any toy, life is good me thinks....
