danc30: And???? Did you actually take it? I once had two women pull up beside me and offer to race for a night of fun. Not exactly a trade.

I was driving mine to work on one of the first nice spring days last year and drive through a little village with a 30mph speed limit. The Boulder County cops watch it like a hawk so I had it in third kind of idling so it's rumbling pretty good. A guy in a bicycle pulls up along side and stays there for about 10 seconds, gives me a thumbs up, and falls back. I get to the stop sign where traffic always backs up and he pulls along side and says "Wanna trade?". Had about a 20 second "what's under the hood" conversation and I got to the stop sign where I had to give it a little "goose" for him.
He was in his 50's so knew what it was.

Was sitting at a light in Santa Cruz and notice a city motorcycle cop behind me by a couple of cars. I'm thinking, "He's eyeing me for a ticket." Sure enough, he revs up and pulls up next to me, then says, "There aren't a lot of things that I'd trade my motorcycle for...", gesturing to his police issue Harley, "...but that car would be it. Nice car." Then took off as the light changed.
My Cobra wasn't even painted (and still isn't, dammit! But that's about to change...).

I know I started with the suggestive sidetrack to Bill's original question and I regret that now that we seem to have descended into frat-boy territory. Adult humour can be enjoyed in the main forum IMO without resorting to outright juvenile vulgarity and running the risk of alienating the few female members who participate here.
There's a lounge forum for more "relaxed" banter and members play there knowing what to expect.
You may carry on as you please, or not - it isn't up to me - but I want no part of this and I'll remove my earlier contribution (it wasn't replied to so it won't affect the flow of the thread).
I know it's frowned upon to modify posts after the fact, but I hope the moderators understand that it simply goes against my grain to fly this low in the main forum.
PS - Sorry about the sidetrack Bill. As you were.
