Default Wiring how to??????

I'm almost ready to start wiring my Cobra. This is a restoration of a Johnex.
There was nothing left of the wiring. I'm starting from scratch. Is there a manuel out there so I can learn how to wire from scratch.
I'm planing to use a painless harness. The one for a T bucket hot rod 8 circut seems to be the simplest design. What else will I need to add to this?
I know I will need odds and ends, but will this provide me with what I need to get from fuse pannel to lights.

Some features that we will need / like to have.

Keyless fob with start button from Painless
reverse lights
headlights
front turn signals
rear turn signals
tail/ brake lights
wiper motor
dash lights
gauges/ speed, tach, water temp, oil presure, volts, fuel
power for line lock
fuel pump
electric fan
licsense plate light

Can some one post a link to a how to thread or point me to a manuel that I could order.
I do not know how to do this but I'm determined to learn and do it.

Thanks

You can download the installation instructions from the Painless site. They are quite good.

I would get the 10 or 12 circuit harness. The process is pretty much the dame. But then you room to grow, and the ability to add whatever you want. Extra curcuits can be simply coiled and cable tied up behind the dash or in the top of the foot box.

Take a look at Ron Francis wiring. They have a unique setup with ability to change it easily. All the wires are marked for where they go (I suspect most do that too).

Make or purchase a couple of must have tools.A 12 volt power supply with alligator clips and volt/ohm meter.Chasing down wiring is made simple with these on hand. Also take the time to draw up your own wiring diagram to mark your wires color codes.Different colored wires will end up together, without this diagram you will always be in the dark.
