That happened to police car here in Redding some time back. They were called to a domestic problem case and it was about the neighbors dog. While inside talking to the neighbor and hearing how the dog wouldn't bite anything but dog food, the dog was outside busy. When they came back out all four tires of the patrol car were flat with dog bites in the sidewall. The owner had to pay to have the car hauled back in and have four new tires put on it.
