I don't see a listing for "C6AE-9425-C" but I do see one for a "C6AE-9425-G". It's a cast iron single 4 barrel that fits 66/67 390s and plain Jane "station Wagon"428s, nothing special. Very little, if any value. Pics will tell the tale. There wasn't anything in the listing series for a 427.

Undy, I Googled it & some specific info came up. Here's what I found so far: C = 60's, 6 = 1966, A = full size, E = engine, 9425 = part #, C = 3rd. version. I still don't have a clue to it's value. If he runs it on E-Bay, shipping would be a problem because of it's weight. Also, if the right people aren't looking, you won't get a fair bid. If he puts it on Craigslist, he's got to put a price. I realize this is no BOSS 429 part, but I'd hate to tell him it's only worth a couple hundred bucks if it's worth 750.
Mick, don't worry - I've owned some pretty nice Fords, not just Mopes! The Mach 1's are some of my dream cars & I've had a few.

Post it on Ebay, with a $2000 reserve, and see where it goes. If it's worth anything, the weight won't matter. There will be enough people loooking, more than if on Craig's.

intake question
Rare Iron
I'm not trying to highjack your thread.
I do have a question about an FE intake.
I have an intake off of a 428 that I took out of a 67 stationwagon. I have not been able to find out what the large "S" on the runner means. Does anyone know?
Dwight

According to my books, the large "S" was cast on the '66-'68 390 GT manifolds. The '69 390 GT did not have the "S".

As far as the original thread question about C6AE-9425-C, the book says the last letter of "C, K or M" is an aluminum "Sidewinder" from a 427 4V, classified as "racing". These pop up on Ebay from time to time in various conditions...

My '69 390 GT had an S on it. My recollection is that it was behind the carb though, not in front. It was, however, a low rise intake that only shared an "S" with the early models. The cam was also a T-bird grind and not the same as the early ones( which are pretty much the same as the CJ specs). Finally it had an Autolite/Motorcraft carb and not a Holley.
