Trailered it from Park Place Ltd yesterday. I'm glad we made that choice 150+ miles would have been nerve wracking for a first time out. Also the Seattle - Tacoma traffic was a B****..

We arrived around 6:00 the sky parted long enough for a 20 miles drive - WOW.. What a blast the car drives, rides and handles great... The 427R has plenty of power and will spin the tires in the first 3 gears.

The car set as a roller for almost 2+ years. They installed the engine in November of '09. I think they held the prices to high on their web site.

After much research and re-sale values on used Cobra's I decided I wanted a Superformance with Roush 427R TKO 600 and 17"wheels. I made Park place an offer they countered I had them install bumpers for that price and the deal was done.. I couldn't be happier...

Now if the weather would allow this little Cobra some road time...

Rick

Congratulations Rick.

I'm sure you will only learn to love the car more and more as you get drive it more.

Rick:
Congrats on getting the new toy home. Don't feel too bad about the weather. When I brought my car back it started raining about a half hour before I got home and rained for the next 3 weeks. Just have to adapt to it living in this end of the swamp.
Nothing significant scheduled for our local area until the first weekend of next month but keep an eye on:

This is the NW FFR forum where we do most of the posting for Cascade Cobras http://www.cascadecobras.com/.
Any "unofficial" or "officail" runs get posted and set up there. The unoffical runs are usually relatively short local hops that are set up more or less on the spur of the moment and can be as short as 50 or 60 miles up to over 100. Pretty much just a bunch of locals getting together when the weather looks like it will break for a day on the weekend this time of year.
Again, congrats.
