Maurice,

If I were as wise as my age should dictate I would be right up there among the best. But unfortunately, I don't think in my case wisdom progressed with my age. I seem to be stuck somewhere in the teens wisdom wise. I agree that young and stupid was fun. I still have the stupid part, now if I could just get the young part again.

Still feel like and 18 yr old most of the time.Certainly remember when the first Cobra hit the streets. If the price were not so high back then, would have owned one.Saw my first 427 Cobra at a dealership here in So Portland the year I graduated high school. All I can is,from that day on knew I would eventually own one,and have since 93.

I first answered this question in 2006 when I was a young 60 year old but now I am much more "mature" and pushing 64 I just wish that I hadn't waited so long to get my Cobra. On the other hand if I had been able to buy the one that I saw in 1966 I probably would have killed myself in short order.

I am old as dirt but I remember going with my Dad to the Ford Dealership in Riverside, CA to see my first Cobra in 1965. I knew I would have one some day and I do. Bestest and funnest car ever.

62 yrs wandering around this blue ball, loving every minute of it.Ignoring (what I can) all the bad, focusing on the good.My toys relect my love for drag racing, thus my choice of big block for CMC Cobra in 93.Am learning age is a state of mind, they say as we age,two things leave us right away, one is our memory and I forget what the other one was.

40 and had my Cobra for 4 Years. I never thought I would own one but thanks to my father-inlaw I got it at a good price. I have had many muscle cars and jacked up 4X4's but none of them have been this much fun.

I am still trying to get my first one. Been in that mode since 1972.

I just turned 56.

If life does not toss me any more surprises, I just might pull it off in the next few years.

I am 39 and holding, every thing I can, just to prove I still can...

OK that came from an old country song, I am 61 and loving every minute in my Cobra.

If the above quote is off, then I blame it on my age.
