I don't know about that. Right after I typed my last message I was thinking to myself "how fast could I react to a busted carb spring?" I used to be pretty fast, but every year my reactions seem to get slower. And just as I was thinking that to myself, while sitting in my easy chair with my laptop on my lap, a puff of smoke came out the side of my laptop and drifted up through a sunbeam coming in through the window and I immediately thought to myself "what the hell is wrong with my car now?" It took me a good second and a half, maybe two, before I realized that I was not driving my Cobra but rather was sitting in my easy chair typing on my laptop. Absolutely true story. Perhaps I just need more sleep, but I think after that they probably would be fishing me out of the creek as well.  |
