Did you have to move the front cross member up? I'm referring to the peice that the steering column passes through and the footboxes attach to.

I don't think so. You see on the vertical piece to the outside of the driver area where the round tube has been ground off? I am pretty certain that is the original cross square tube there which was left in place and round tube removed. The front lower cross bar in front of the bottom of the front of the footbox is different. That is in space according to the Kirkham pedal box to be installed. I'm sure Bruce will chime in once he comes up from the lair...

Ahhh....thanks! When you say round tube, I assume you are referring to the FFR round tube that is used for foot protection.

Can't wait to take the plunge too. Soon!!!

Bill, from memory from my first build this is the round tube I am referring to. Again though, Bruce is doing this and can clarify if needed. A lot of the original metal from the FFR chassis is just GONE. I think he can accommodate however far you want to go, though...
