tin-man's SPF 2984 build pictures

Gents, Just finished uploading my first set of build pictures from Hi-Tech Automotive in S.A. to my gallery, the Roush engine build will follow next. What started out as an order with Hillbank on December 28, 2009 is now coming to fruition.

Voss Performance will do the installation, but it looks like late December or early January before I get to take my first ever ride in my OWN COBRA..

The tension is getting to be unbearable, but after being bitten by the snake and dreaming of getting a Cobra for the past ten years, I guess I can wait a couple of more months, y'think?**).

Is this deep, gut wrenching, angst normal?

Cheers. tin-man:)

The anticipation period is great. Staring at pictures for hours, counting down the days. This part of owning your first cobra is a memorable part of the whole experience. Its like waiting for your kid to be born. Its great and keeps getting better.

Love the black! Enjoy.

Those are nice shots -- and it will be a beautiful build. I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't get it before Christmas. Most builders don't want to have the car sit in their shop over the Holidays if it only has a few more hours of work left in the build. They'll just gear up and work a little OT in order to get it to you. Man, that would be pretty cool if they delivered it to you right before Christmas.

You mean like this?

When you go to your gallery, select the "linked image", not the "linked thumbnail".

I would hate to see the beautiful paint get chipped up, make sure you buy a bra off them, it is the best thing I ever bought and with your car being black the color will match. The fit and quality is second to none.

John, thanks, I'll give it a try

Are the Tri-bar ( tripod) headlights standard on SPFs or an option?
I really like how they make a cobra look.

Congrats on the car, you will love for sure.

They are an option at US$300, installed. I too thought they rounded out the Cobra look. John AKA tin-man

The anticipation is the best part. Not many times in your life do feel that emotion and excitement. Savor the moment and enjoy it.

This is true. Once you start going through the process of the shakedown runs, resolving little gremlins, dealing with your first rock chip, etc., then the romance starts to wear off some. But after a long day or when you need an escape, all you have to do is sit in the seat and fire her up and suddenly your problems dissipate. I believe this to be true with any performance car, cobra or otherwise.
