Robert:

Those were a real barn burner, 3 cyl 2 stroke, blue oil smoke out the back...where was the EPA. Now they require Catalytic convertors (at least in Kalifornia) on Weed wackers. Go figure

Rick,

Wish I still had mine. Good place to put the old engine oil (mine had oil injection 1 gallon tank under the hood, use any 30 weight or so).

in days of 'ore i used to be a service writer at a SAAB (SLOB) dealership
no one liked the franchise that worked there. i won't even begin to say what we thought about anyone that bought one.

but the funniest thing i ever saw was the poor bastard that pulled into the breezeway with his two day old SAAB....we thought he tinted the windows,
couldn't see into the car. when he opened the door and the smoke billowed out, we figured he had a service problem, lol, and by the burned out seat of his pants we knew where to look. .....he traded the car in that day on a Benz.

I think i would drive the weed wacker before the SAAB......
