But trendy black is wanting to do something out of boredom. It's against your lightness credo and not a 'natural' finish like the rest of your beautiful car. And painting centers gold will clash with the chrome body work.
If you MUST do something, get yours fine-glass beaded for a more 'vintage' look. Like deese:
