, cant get into the internet .got a screen popup says there is a problem with yahoo toolbar, so i disabled it, IE now works, now using norton safe search, not as easy as yahoo, am i on the road to ruin?( please keep in mind ,I am a blacksmithe when it comes to this computer)

Go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs.
Look at bottom of list for Yahoo Toolbar and Uninstall

If you need to replace it with another search toolbar, use Google toolbar.

I personally dislike toolbars, but if you are used to one, the Google guy is the best.

Can't you just go to www.yahoo.com and search from their website?

.....and there's a newer search engine i just found called "google".. you might want to try that one..
