Busabob,
There are actually 2 different companies being talked about in this thread. Get in touch with Charlie at Hot Rods by Dean (they are the installer for the only new LICENSED SPF dealer. Charlie has built my csx and many of the SPF and CSX cars here in the valley and you wont find a more honest compnay to deal with than Hot Rods by Dean. I dont know anything about the new licensed dealer for SPF but if Dean and Charlie work with them, they must be okay. I think the scumbag dealer they are referencing is no longer in business but call Charlie at 623-581-1932

If this is the same Charlie that worked for John Panfill at Anthem Motors, they both ripped me off for over 20k, I tried to get them in court but they were protected by the bankrupcy laws

John yes, Charlie no. John owned Anthem motors, Charlie worked as an employee for John but didn't have anything to do with John's business dealings. I had my car built right as they were going ouit of business and Charlie did everything he could to help me and others during a bad time as they were going under. I know you and others were left high and dry but with 100% certainty, Charlie had nothing to do with that.

Get your facts straight before you start throwing accusation about people around. There are at least a dozen or more of us that have dealt with Charlie both at Anthem and also at Hot Rods by Dean and he is first class top notch

Before you pop of at the mouth learn your facts, Charlie was in charge of my build, he knew damn well my car was not getting finished yet still personally took my last payment of 7g and never touched the car again, My car was in there possesion over a year and a half when Charlie gave me every excuse in the book why it was not getting finished, I have court documents if you really want to look them over, I hold both he and John accountable. He did nothing but take my money and he used the wrong parts on half the build because he was not familiar with my motor, I still had to pay, just had to rant feels better when everyone knows the truth.

You don't get it but I won't continue the argument after this post. Charlie WORKED for John and therefore took ORDERS from John. It was his JOB. What would happen at your job if you told the boss no? You would get fired(at least at my company you would)

The car was never in Charlie's possesion because he DIDN'T OWN THE COMPANY. John and his wife Tatiana owned it and was responsible. I don't balme you for being pissed off at being screwed, I would be too, I just know since Charlie didnt own the compnay, he took orders from John. Charlie has always been honest and worked his butt off to help a lot of us that had several ongoing lengthy problems with Roush after our builds and I will always be a customer of his. I will always stand behind him.

Charlie knew that John was scamming me, I only dealt with Charlie for the 2 years of my build cause John was afraid to deal with me after the lies started, I dealt with this problem forever, if you knew the lies Charlie told me (just to keep his job) it was very dishonest, karma is a ***** as they say. Every build is handled differnent, unfortunatly for me Charlie was a part of it with John and Tatia. He is a good machanic, but so was John.

FordRacing - You have a right to your opinion, I disagree and I will leave at that.

Busabee, if you need anything you can PM me or call me. Good luck with your search. Best bang for the buck is to buy a fully fleshed out, dialed in SPF Big Block. There are some great deals out there, it is a buyers market. I wouldnt build a new one for $100K when you can buy one 1 or 2 years old for $50-60K. If I would of known then what I know now, it is the route I would of gone (except for a new Kirkham but I didnt even know about them until after my build was in progress)
Cheers
Ron
