Default Power disk brakes are fantastic

I have a MKI FFR. It originally had the 90 mustang rear end modified for the 5 lug pattern.

These past few days a good friend helped me out. We pulled axles from a 98 stang. This gave me disk brakes.

Then a booster was pulled from a fiesta. A small booster granted but a booster just the same. Stopping power is great!!!

I had the front rotors turned, I got new pads for the front.

My FFR mkII has a small Festiva booster, 90 Mustang rear except for a 4 bolt pattern. I have plenty of stopping power.

It seems like our set up was very similar. So my question is how much of a difference do you notice with rear discs?

It is hard to say because I changed to disk and power at the same time.

Going from non power front disk rear drum brakes

to

power disk all the way around is fantastic.

I would say that you would gain a little braking power but not much. If you went the same route as I did you would have to get rims with the 5 lug pattern.
