Source for Vinyl Protective Film to Use Under Softtop
Anyone know of a good source for the cling type thick vinyl protective film that can be used under the rear of a soft top installation to protect the paint, then remove it by pealing it off and reusing it when needed.
I had some at one point that was bout 1/16 thick and was great stuff, would stick to any smooth surface, but need a new source.
Thanks,

Wayne,
Could you glue some thick felt (color to match the top) to the bottom of the soft top? Then it would be there any time you want to put it on.

Hi, Wayne:
I use Keith at Chuforiagraffix for all my vinyl needs. He can make you whatever you want. For my Lemans top, I asked him to cut some 1.5" X 12' clear adhesive paint protection film in 3' sections such that I could protect the paint from abrasion at the HT seal/body interface. Here's a photo after I laid it down:

You can get static cling material from McMaster-Carr.

Allen,
What did he charge to make that?
