It depends on what that scale was intended to weigh.
Those that use scales intended to corner weight a race car can be reasonably sure that they are accurate. The scales were designed to be accurate in the range in which a Cobra's weight falls.
Those that use scales intended to weigh loaded trucks weighing many, many tons should not be so reasonably sure. A relatively light weight Cobra is at the extreme end of their measurable range, and accuracy at the extremes is suspect, especially when comparing a few hundred pounds' difference.
It would be interesting to gather a cross section of manufacturer's Cobras and weigh them all on the same scale.
Anyone know the advertised curb weights of the original Mk 1/2 and Mk 3 Cobras?
