FAST XFI - need help with timing....
Hi guys,
can anyone help me ? : I installed a 8stack-efi system with a FAST XFI ECU.
I decided to go the 50° BTDC route and installed all things this way...now after starting the engine, the engine idles at about 1150 rpm. I checked the timing with a timing-light and the timing shows 50° on engine.
Now I connected my pc with the C-com software from FAST. Here the "Spark BTDC" shows about 26° timing. The recommended timing for my engine is 16°@ idle of 900rpm.
Question : how should or can I set the correct timing of 16° at 900 rpm ? Turning the distributor until the programm shows the 16°...?
