Sorry, I thought this was a misery thread, in the end Avanti-176 and myself will be better before his issue is fixed, but then again his does not require brain surgery, LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!

I would yank that engine and trans, send chassis to KC, have him install engine and trans and start driving. As Avanti figured out some people will never know the answer, they dont have the ability. When he picked the car up they warned of a shifting problem, wtf, I would have had a payment problem. Car took over a year, come on, wtf, talking about insanity.

Maddmax, one last thing, physical therapy, do it! and do it with conviction, it has probably cut my 100% return time in half. Work on your posture it is the root of a majority of our evils, been working hard on it for 3 months now and can't tell you how much better the rest of my body feels, not just the neck.

Very interested in Tin-man's diagnosis, fuel injection and electronics are wonderful things when working correctly but when it starts to go bad.....

The main reason I got the Cobra is because it is basically just 4 wheels and a motor, fewer things to go wrong, that is the inherant beauty of these cars, like an old Jeep, perfectly simple and perfectly suited for it's intended purpose.
