You are definitely correct though…. it should never have happened. 78 miles!! What happened to the product testing? Why would these guys be happy to release to the customer an untested, unproven powertrain package? Not as if they hadn’t had the time to do it. Cheers, John! Glen
Hi Glen, yes my mood is bleck and very bleck and right now I feel like a very mean plick and want satisfaction and am biding my time to see what these guys do to cover up a F*CK**G PUBLIC RELATIONS DISASTER.

That said they have been very reactive to the issues and I suspect I will eventually get my satisfaction.

The preliminary probable cause has been attributed to a loose screw in the distributor that caused some bracket to malfunction and thus the car would not start. Erick Voss cranked the car, diagnosed the issue, fixed it, and drove the car off the transporter. Go figure huh, a F*CK**G SCREW. That said the transmission linkage still needs to be looked at to see if the was any sustained damage to the linkage components.

Roush have sorted the hi-idle for a 427 Windsor, but have yet to get the 511 sorted. Well they got six month to do that since I'm outa here tomorrow and heading back to China.

The hi-low shifting will be sorted by Compushift after extensive road testing and tweaking. This has been confirmed by Mark Bowler.

Eric Voss is performing all the diagnostics and reports back his findings to Bowler and Roush.

Lance Stander of Hillbank has graciously agreed to perform some extensive road testing on my behalf to shake any other bugs he finds as he puts the engine and transmission thru their paces and if any issues crop up its back to the drawing board. He did say, and this is what type of guy he is, when all has been sorted he will then store my car in his showroom awaiting my return at Christmas.

Now this is the type of service and attention that makes for a world class company and is why I chose a Superformance Mk111.

We move forward.
