I see what you mean.....if the car is sitting in a museum, not to be run on a daily basis, then the dead battery is just fine, it makes the car more "period correct" even if it won't fire up the car.
The Blue Dots, if they hold air, would serve the same purpose.
I didn't think of it that way....the analogy to leaving the original guitar strings on an old Martin was flawed....there's NO benefit to doing that!
