Just think of all of the beer cans that could have been made out of that aluminum. Instead they butchered a perfectly good 427 body & installed it on a sub-standard, small-block powered car. What a shame.

The only thing uglier is the orange monster cobra wanna be that Russo and Steele have slated for auction this Jan. (It on their website) I am not sure who would paint a cobra that color orange but to each his own I guess.

Wow, you guys are brutal. I agree, $125,000 is crazy money for this. But I kinda like the paint scheme. I like the graphics better than a plain polished one. I think it fits the P-39 Airacobra theme - that was a crappy airplane. But the bomber seats, all the rivets, the nose art - it does follow a theme. And I've seen a lot of other repliCobras here that I thought were pretty poorly done that i just kept to myself. You know the saying - there's a seat for every ass.....

I agree. Maybe overpriced but it's kind of neat - a theme Cobra. I suspect the splices and rivets in the side were in keeping with the theme. And the FFR chassis with IRS is certainly stout and competent.

Agreed, What's with all the hatin' going on here? Why trash another persons vision? The builder did a great job putting this car together. To trash someone in this manner seems a bit out of line. I thought those on this sight had better respect than this. On the other side of this , a buck and a quarter is pricey but has anyone seen it in person? I agree with a seat for every ass...

I've seen it in person. It's pretty rough. The price is nearly what I got for my two Kirkhams, combined.,,,,,,,,Ron

Because this is what this site has become over the years. The my replica is better than your replica has been playing here for a long time. Most of us who were here in the beginning and built and drove our Cobra replicas have moved on. We come back from time to time but somethings never change.
The guys who build their own cars with their own hands have to take a back seat to the guys who spend 100K on kits completed in some Cobra shop or in the factory.
The FFR guys are always put down here (the guys who still build their own) by those who write the check.
Most of the posts on this thread pretty much sums up today's Club Cobra poster
Shame on those guys.
