Well, I'm already $20 under Summit Racing's price, so that sounds like a pretty good deal to me.
Plus you get unlimited tech support....which is something that a lot of people don't appreciate about the forum venders.

No piling on here....I was trying to explain why you wanted the big clutch.

When you talk to the Olthoffs, I would:
1. Not show your hindend like you did here.
2. Ask them about the notched clutch fork that you will probably need if your slave cylinder pushes the fork towards the front of the car.

Just for the record, I didn't say anything negative to you at all. Now, you may have taken it that way, but that's not my issue.
RAM clutches are great....they go in 75% of my street/strip stuff. Never had an issue. If you had one go south on you, then you had the wrong clutch, had it adjusted wrong, or can't drive. My reputation is staked on the engines that I build and the parts that I sell to go with them. I'm not going to sell junk so that someone can bad mouth me on the internet.
Good luck and have a good evening.

I have a McLeod clutch in my SPF and it slips 3-4 and 4-5. the car has 27500 miles on it . Do you think its fried? I do know how to drive a stick because I got 1,003,000 mile out of the clutch in my Peterbilt.

Usually when a clutch is starting to go, it will start slipping in the higher gears like that. Will it slip if you leave it in 5th gear, load it at a low rpm, then get into the throttle?
If it's a regular organic/organic disc with a diaphragm plate, chances are that you probably have more engine than what the clutch can handle. Combinations like that are generally good for 300-350hp.
