I use rain x also, saves wiper marks on the screen but we are obliged to have both, to pass our M,O,T for licencing.regards Sam

Never considered them in our car but did install wipers,heat and defrost.

I guess I'm one of the lone yes votes. I'm trying to build close to original outward appearance. Probably never use them.

It is required in Michigan, but I got a wave from the state police.

They are the ones that fill out the inspection form and safety check. Post 27, our local state police post, is manned with a good group of men and women. They were came out and went through the entire list. At the winshield squirters on the list, they wrote wave.

Interesting. Being from MI, I may ask the state police as they would be more likely to wave such a thing.

Install for appearance if not state required. They do help in heavy fog. Never used the spray and removed it.
