AHAAAA! Bless you pal-drove me nuts. May the Gods of Mg sprinkle some flakes in your (immaculate) garage. I knew Bill wouldn't build a gas burden like that into the car after all the other smart stuff he did. Much like Rodneym, Bill had a vision and plan and took it to completion.
MHA-thanks for the clarification and specs. I'm amazed they're 125cc chambers-my MR heads had 2.250" valves also but the chamber was tiny by comparison-78cc and 10.33:1 with a flat piston.
I should clarify, I meant ignition timing, not the cams. Putting the cams in + or - 4 degrees would not alter the octane requirement-just move the powerband up or down.
Kanuck-no harm, there's lots of mystery numbers floating around FE land.
Anyone seen hyde or hair of Malone??
