My car was ready to leave Las Vegas 13 months after I placed my deposit. I too had to pay the full balance BEFORE THE CAR LEFT HI-TECH!! That was somewhat unnerving, but I have to admit it all worked out really well. I found out that 50% of that wait period is spent doing nothing. It takes 6 MONTHS from the moment you place an order (pay your deposit) to the moment HI-TECH picks up the first screw on your car. At least my AD warned me from day #1, and that help the angst (somewhat
